The Founder and Designated Partner of Padmini & Co LLP brings over 25 years of distinguished and diverse professional experience across Audit & Assurance, Direct Taxation, Business Strategy, Process Re-engineering, Automation, Business Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, Tally Implementation, and Data Analytics. Her expertise spans a wide spectrum of industries, where she has successfully led complex engagements, strengthened governance frameworks, and delivered end-to-end financial and operational solutions. She has consistently advised clients on regulatory matters, risk mitigation, and performance enhancement, while driving digital transformation initiatives and implementing robust financial systems to improve accuracy, transparency, and decision-making.

A qualified Chartered accountant and a Cost & Management accountant with a Post Graduation in Commerce. He is also an inter ACS.

* A senior Finance & Audit professional with over 30 years of post-qualification industrial experience of which includes 2 decades of Overseas (Middle East) stint.

* Rich Corporate experience in internal audit, financial controls, & financial accounting spanning 3 decades

* Exposure to different industrial sectors (Automobiles, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Consulting, etc)

* During the formative years was instrumental in establishing Accounting systems, automation of Accounting process as well as establishing start up branch operations at various locations.

* Proven ability to improve operations, ensure business and productivity growth through achievements in finance management, cost reduction, & internal controls.

* Established various Internal Control measures & unearthed various fraudulent activities.

Post his industrial experience, currently involved in full time active practice since last 6 years. He handles regular Statutory and Internal Audits.

Education, Experience & Exposure

* Fellow Chartered Accountant with over 36 years of professional experience in taxation and allied matters, Audit of public limited companies.

* Worked with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited during 2003 till 2022. Handled indirect taxes such as Excise, Customs, Service Tax and Vat till June 2017.

* Strong exposure to GST issues, compliance mechanism, pre audit and tax representation.

Primary Responsibilities

* Handling all issues related to indirect taxes from reply to show cause notice till adjudication.

* First Appeal, representation before first appellate authority.

* Filing appeal before GSTAT and representation.

* Training sessions on GST to large corporates.

* Was a special invitee to the indirect taxation committee of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi during 2011/12 1nd 2012/13.
